Trolls can bring victory by continuing farming to get good items like Black King Bar and Sange Yasha. This hero is selfish and can do anything on his own, like destrying tower, killing roshan alone, or fighting the enemy alone (if you have Black King Bar items).

1. First step buy an initial item including Queling Blade, Tango, Stout Shield, and Faerie Wings then choose the top lane. Why the top lane? Because this lane has a lot of jungle creep that you can kill alone if you can’t farm on the lane.
When Last Hit, try to hit creep only when the health is low, do not attack the creep constantly because it will make your creep forward to the enemy tower, and if that happens then you will also go to the enemy tower and will be easily ganked and die. You better keep quiet / pacing while waiting for the creep health stay a little.
Do denied as much as possible so that enemy can’t get gold and exp and in order to make enemy creep tend to your tower. So you'll be safer. Do last hit with range or melee, but better melee if possible because it will do more damage due to queling blade effect.
2. Next buy the morbid mask item. This item will allow you to farm in the forest when there are many enemies in the lane. After that buy Phase Boots, then buy the Ring of Aquila, and then buy Mask of Madness. Once you have all these items, you can kill the big creep forest (Ancient Creep) quickly.
Go into the forest and kill Ancient Creep as much as possible until you can buy Shadow Blade item. Perform stacking creep by hitting the forest creep when the time show at 53-55 second then back off and bait Ancient Creep as far as possible from his nest.
When farming, use the Whirling Axe Melee (skill 3), then activate Mask of Madness. Do not go to the lane for the pushing tower (it’s ok if you just defend the tower) because you can be ganked by enemy, you should keep farming until your money is much enough to buy Shadow Blade.
3. At minutes 12-15 you should be able to buy Claymore items, after that at 17-19 minutes your money will be enough to buy Shadow Blade. Buy Shadow Blade and smoke of Deceit, do not forget to sell your early items like Queling Blade and Stout Shield.
Use Smoke of Deceit so your enemy will not notice you, even there are ward around Roshan, then go to Roshan and kill. Activate your madness and ultimate skill in order to kill Roshan quickly. If you already have this item, and your 1 and 3 skill is fully maximized, you should can kill Roshan alone.
4. After killing Roshan and getting Aegis of Immortal, get your team to push tower or if your team does not want to stick, farming again to jungle to buy Sange Yasha items. If there is a battle, go there and kill steal enemy (kill him when the health is low) You do not have to be afraid to go forward, because you have an Aegis item. If you fight well, then many enemies will die and you can push the tower as soon as possible.
Take advantage of this opportunity to destroy as many towers as possible, as long as the enemy dies. Destroy first and second towers in all lane first, do not be too greedy by directly destroy third tower, destroy first tower and second tower in all lane first and then leave third tower.
Because the third tower is at the edge, destroying this tower is more difficult, the enemy will stick together, you need items Sange Yasha and Black King Bar to be able destroy it. After tower 1 and 2 crashed back into the jungle and then farming to buy Sange Yasha and Black King Bar items.
5. Once you get the Sange Yasha and Black King Bar items, prepare to push the tower or you can kill Roshan for the second time, depending on the circumstances. I kill Roshan first to make it safer. After you kill Roshan and get the Aegis item destroy the third tower (it’s up to you, choose top, middle or bottom, but i prefer mid) and set your team to stick.
If there is a sudden attack from enemy, use the Black King Bar then hit them out. If the enemy runs off and you can not catch them, better focus on destroying the tower. After the tower and barracks are destroyed, move directly to another tower and then destroy again until all the towers and enemy barracks are gone so you can get Mega Creep.
If enemy buyback or time is not enough to destroy all tower, go back and destroy melee tower in the enemy jungle. Keep farming until you get Satanic item and push again together to get Mega Creep.
After getting Mega Creep it’s up to you, you want immediately end the game or go back first to buy another powerfull item. With Mega Creep you should win the match.
Note: Trolls is not good in battles without the Black King Bar or against enemy with high mobility, so if they is bothering you and you can not catch them, better focus destroy all the towers and barracks. Troll has incredible attack speed, he can destroy all barracks and tower less than 5 minutes. In addition, when push tower you should use range attacks, and if you hitting the enemy use melee.
If you do this guidance correctly, your have a big chance to get victory, and can defeat even tough enemies in Ranked match. In addition, if you are in troble during ranked match, just keep farming to get Sange Yasha, Black King Bar and Satanic item.

Destroying tower
Destroy first and second towers in all lane first, do not be too greedy by immediately destroying third tower if the second tower on the other lane not yet destroyed.

Taking Skill
Skill you need to take is skill 1 - skill 4 - skill 3 - skill 4 - skill 4 - skill ultimate - skill 1 - skill 1, and etc. Prioritize to take fervor (skill 4) then skill 1. Why is this skill important? Because fervor (skill 4) will allow you to farm faster, and Berserker's Rage (skill 1) makes you can kill Roshan easily because of the stun effect.
